TAYLOR BROOKS is a partnership between Taylor Development and Brooks Resources. The Taylor family, including Todd Taylor, his wife Lorri and their children Joe and Abby, have made a lasting imprint on our community. The family founded Taylor NW, providing heavy construction services and creative solutions to Brooks Resources’ projects and thousands of other projects throughout the region for decades.
Brooks Resources is one of the oldest and most respected real estate development companies in Central Oregon. With roots in the Brooks Scanlon Mill at the turn of the century, Brooks Resources has been building communities since 1969. Signature resort and residential communities include Black Butte Ranch, Mount Bachelor Village Resort, Awbrey Butte, Awbrey Glen, NorthWest Crossing, Discovery West and more.
Over the years, Brooks Resources evolved into developing commercial and mixed-use buildings, which aligned with Taylor Development’s emphasis on similar projects. After partnering on numerous projects, Taylor Brooks was officially formed in 2022. The company develops, owns and leases high quality class A office, healthcare and flex industrial buildings and campuses in Bend, Oregon. Taylor Brooks also prides itself in providing top-notch property management services to its tenants. The board of directors consists of Todd Taylor, Joe Taylor, Kirk Schueler and Jade Mayer.
Our Team
Jeremy McPherson
A civil engineer and real estate developer with nearly 24 years of experience, Jeremy joined Taylor Brooks at its formation in early 2023. His vast experience includes commercial, multi-family, mixed-use, industrial and subdivision development across five western states, totaling 1.25M square feet, and counting.
As the General Manager, Jeremy oversees all aspect of project planning, project management, horizontal and vertical construction, leasing coordination and property management.
In his spare time, Jeremy is a private pilot, athlete, father and closet home-based chef.
Chrissy Christoferson
Chrissy previously managed Brooks Resources’ property management division, before consolidating under Taylor Brooks in 2023. A Certified Property Manager, Chrissy is the main contact for Taylor Brooks tenants and vendors and provides service with a smile.
Previously, Chrissy served as the property manager and office manager for Veracity Property Management, where she managed both residential and commercial real estate, as well as working closely with the company’s CFO on accounting strategies and tasks. Prior to this, she worked in operations for Valentine Ventures and co-owned and operated Bend, Oregon children’s shop Stone Soup. Chrissy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Washington State University and lives in Bend with her husband and two sons. When she’s not working you can usually find Chrissy white water rafting, camping with family, or in her garden.
