Opportunities and Challenges
Serán BioScience LLC is in the process of constructing a manufacturing facility in Juniper Ridge and needed additional adjacent space for their growing operations. Taylor Brooks acquired an adjacent lot in Juniper Ridge that was an ideal solution for Serán’s expansion plans.
The Approach
Working with Serán’s executive team, Taylor Brooks planned, designed and constructed a two-building campus to accommodate the company’s growing pharmaceutical operations–specifically their need for a dock-height loading and receiving area and clean-room quality warehouse space. Taylor Brooks successfully worked within the Juniper Ridge design review guidelines and process, obtaining plan approval in 2023.
The Results
Taylor Brooks has constructed two concrete tilt-up light industrial buildings, totaling approximately 47,00 sf. The project delivered 5% under budget that resulted in savings for Serán. The company will use the buildings for receiving, storing, packaging and shipping pharmaceutical products. The buildings were completed in Spring 2025.
